“Antalya” a Panorama lecture on the Internet

attaleia

As a means of promoting Thodoris Kontaras’ lecture on Antalya, we’ve made this 7minutes video, a short narrative consisting of various glimpses of ancient Pamphylia’s port city: its history and people, charming landscapes, archaeological sites, precious heirlooms and works of art. Because Antalya, ancient Greek and Byzantine Attaleia, is one of the most beautiful cities of Anatolia: a lovely port of the Eastern Mediterranean where the Greeks lived until the Exodus of 1922.
Videotaped on 6/2/2013 by the Bodosakis Foundation, Kontaras’ lecture (in Greek), held at Panorama Society’s lecture hall, can be found on www.blod.gr
